Android Apps & Design

Google has defined a new design metaphor inspired by paper and ink. This provides a reassuring sense of tactility for android applications. This visual language is defined by the Material Design Guidelines. Aim of this guideline is to develop a single underlying system that allows for a unified experience across platforms and device sizes.

These apps are published on Google Play Store.

Android is one of the very common open source mobile platform. This is used by several major mobile manufactures which include billion dollar brands like Samsung, LG, Sony to name a few.

Depending on the region where the app is going to be launched and the target user base,  companies take a strategic decision  whether to launch the application first on android or iOS platform.
